One of our major objectives for financial year 2009 / 2010 will be to assist Federal and State Governments introduce and implement best practice working capital into small and medium enterprise (SME) businesses across metropolitan and regional areas.
To this end we will be delivering our educational and advisory services through select Federal and State initiatives and programmes.
July – June 2009-10
Over the forthcoming 12 months we will be running a series of Best Practice Working Capital workshops and mentoring programmes for SME’s in metropolitan and regional NSW as part of the Stepping Up Advance programme for the NSW Government Department Industry and Investment (NSW Gov DII).
We are currently in discussions to take the NSW Gov DII’s Travelling Experts seminar programme to regional NSW to provide regional SME’s with an insight into how best practice working capital improvement can assist to help stabilise and grow their businesses in these challenging economic times.
For SME manufacturers bpworkingcapital have been nominated on the panel of experts as part of the Australian Government's Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR) Enterprise Connect to provide workshops, seminars, advisory and client engagements to this industry sector.
This will enable us to take our services to manufacturing SME’s nationally and provide them with “better access to new ideas, knowledge and technologies, to enable businesses to become more innovative, efficient and competitive and to lift productivity across Australian industry”.
